We are now getting to the stage where our film is coming together and starting to look more professional.
We are now adding in additional clips, video affects and transitions. we are also adding in our voice over which was done by Emma the female actor in our trailer which has worked out really well.
The problem we had with our first draft of the film was that it was to slow, it was more like an opening on a film rather than a trailer, and it didn't fit the pace of our genre. However since we have done much more editing, it is coming together and looking more professional.

We are looking more in depth at our print products.
We have a better idea for our posters, but now we are focusing on the front cover of a magazine advertising our film.
We've looked at the top seller magazine for films, which is Empire Magazine, who cover all types of genre with no limitations.

I've looked at magazine covers from Empire and 9 times out of 10, the subject in the film(mainly the main lead/s) look like they are coming of the page, and infront of the title of the magazine. This emphasises their importants within the film. Also in cases the Empire logo changes colour or sometimes font to fit the genre it is advertising. Also the smaller subheadings on the magazine are the same colour or font to fit in with the title and genre.

  1. Some images to illustrate your ideas would be helpful (sketches or links to images of what you mean). Remember - you need to clearly demonstrate your thinking.
