Our ideal setting for the film is Finchale Abbey, as it is surrounded by the natural beauty of a roual area. It has a lot of ruins left from a priory built in the 13th century as a retreat for the monks in Durham. This would be perfect for what we have in mind (we are definitaly thinking of doing a horror) as it's a remote place, however it is quite a tourist attraction on a sunny day. The idea is that with the 'creepy' setting on an evening it will be perfect for horror that we want to do. There is so much you can make the story about when you are placed with such a great setting.
There is so much you can do with that area, especially with filming.

CORRECTION!
We have decided not to film here after all, since it is a very crowded place, at it will be hard to keep people away from where we are filming...
Instead we are planning to find a different location that is more sicluded therefore there will be no distrubtion to the film process and we will be able to do particular scenes without causing any panic from the general public.
- Plenty of 'hiding' places for the killer(if we choose to have one)
- With it's history, we can say or suggest that the place is 'haunted'
